Zing is energy. Tom defines that energy as the perfect synthesis of our natural abilities and our natural interests. When our abilities and interests come together, an emotional chemical reaction happens in our brains that turns on creativity, initiative and positivity. And for most people, they felt it most strongly when they were young.
What is the theory?
Zing came naturally to us as children. It was like breathing. We didn’t think about it. We just woke up every morning, explored our world for the things, people and experiences that captured our interest, then enjoyed them. Tom takes people on a journey which helps them realize they can have that kind of energy in their lives again, experience the world anew and fill it with happiness and joy. An exciting, vibrating experience filled with excitement and potential. An amaZING life.
How Do I Get It?
In the Dream Job Tom Experience workshop. In it, Tom reconnects people with a different aspect of their younger self, the child within all of us, that embodies the qualities of wonder, curiosity, enthusiasm, optimism, energy but most of all, the crystal clarity of knowing exactly what we want and the desire and energy to go after it and get it. There is a book series that accompanies the workshop that introduces additional concepts; T.O.Y. and R.E.A.L. They are key to unleashing Zing in yourself and then releasing it into the world!
The goal of the process is to lead people to the Zing that lies at the intersection of talent and passion. The Zing that makes us feel alive, worthwhile and useful in fun and practical ways. When we’re doing what we love and are best at, we experience a vibrant life, one of boundless possibility.
